It allows you to select tuning modes, track car parameters, and easily upload custom tunes from the cloud using a smartphone. The Monte GT is user-friendly, offering a simple interface to enhance your vehicle’s power and efficiency without permanent changes, all while ensuring lifetime updates through the constantly improving Monte OS.
Is it safe to use Monte GT?
Yes, Monte GT is completely safe to use. It does not overwrite your vehicle’s ECU software, so there is no risk of damaging engine components. All tuning adjustments are made by the device itself, using advanced algorithms designed for your specific car. Additionally, each tune is tested both on the road and on a dyno before being made available. Monte GT will not interfere with other electronic systems, including safety features or dashboard displays.
My car is not on the list, how do I program it?
If your car is not in our database, please let us know, and we will create the tuning settings for your vehicle. The process typically takes about 2 business days, and the catalog will be updated automatically.
Can Monte Chip be transferred to another vehicle?
Yes, the Monte Chip can be transferred to another vehicle, as long as the software is supported in our database and your car brand is compatible with our tuning solution. There are no limitations on the number of vehicles you can install the Monte Chip on.
Do I need to keep the app running all the time?
No, you don't need to keep the app running. Once you've selected the mode, you can close the app.
How does it work?
The Monte GT temporarily replaces sections of the engine map with segments from our finely tuned performance maps. It safely unlocks your engine’s full potential without voiding the warranty. The Monte GT modifies the ECU's fuel delivery and timing values stored in the ECU's temporary memory (RAM) at up to 256 load points, without altering the permanent memory (ROM).
Does the GT have to stay plugged in all the time?
Yes, since we do not make any permanent changes, the device must remain plugged in at all times. Disconnecting it will cause the car to revert to the factory settings within 10 km after disconnection.
